Episode 40 Self-Driven Student Learning with Luna

Brent Warner
Welcome to DIESOL. This is Episode 40. We are your hosts. I am Brent Warner.

Ixchell Reyes
And I’m Ixchell Reyes.

Brent Warner
Where’s your energy today? You’re waking up too early.

Ixchell Reyes
I bet I’ve been… by the time people listen to this, I’ll have finished working with teachers that are in Uzbekistan. So we’ve been trying to meet their schedule and what I’ve been doing this week, but it’s been exciting.

Brent Warner
Yeah, wonders of the internet. So you’re traveling traveling virtually to Uzbekistan every morning.

Ixchell Reyes
Via my couch.

Brent Warner
So we’ve been doing the Clubhouse.

Ixchell Reyes
That’s right. On Mondays, we have been doing clubhouse. And I know that you Brent. Were a little iffy about it at the beginning. That’s bad. You are kind of a cusp millennial. So we’ve got to get on that train.

Brent Warner
I know. I’m always I’m always borderline and it’s like I hold off a little longer than some people but it’s pretty, pretty cool. It’s cool. Like I’ve been enjoying it. We started doing our DIESOL clubhouse on Mondays, short ones, 30 minutes. And it’s been pretty good. So yeah, keeping that in mind. So actually, what end up happening for this episode is we have our guests on today, which is Luna. Hi, Luna, how are you?

Luna
Hi, I’m good. Thank you Brent. And thank you for having me here. Yeah. Hi, Ixchell.

Ixchell Reyes
Nice. Nice to have you.

Luna
It’s my pleasure.

Brent Warner
So Luna, you came on to the clubhouse and Luna, just to be clear, you are my student. And so, you know, you came on to the clubhouse and listened in and shared a couple of ideas. And we thought we’re at 40 episodes. And we haven’t really properly interviewed a student yet. We’ve talked, we’ve talked to people who were students in the past, but are now teachers and you know, different different setups, but like just like, Hey, I’m just a student, I’m learning things. And so we just kind of said, Oh, yeah, it might be a good idea. And Luna, since you have so many good ideas which you were sharing. During the clubhouse, we asked you to come and join us. And thankfully you said yes. So thank you so much.

Luna
Thank you.

Brent Warner
But we wanted to talk a little bit about in particular, I was happy to have you on because you’ve been my student now for a year and a little

Luna
Yeah, a year year.

Brent Warner
You started in the summer wasn’t summer of last year that you started.

Luna
Yeah, last year last summer.

Brent Warner
Yeah. together. And those were all online. But the the amazing thing for me any shell I’ll tell you this too, with with Luna was like, I would share some technology. And then she’d be like doing her own projects with it later, like trying to figure it out things and then you were not in my class, I think in the fall semester. But then you you’re like, oh, here’s you’re still sending me emails. And like, here’s a podcast, I recorded by myself just for fun. And I’m like, wow, you’re really doing all of these amazing things, and really, really trying to take advantage of your learning. And then the reason why this is a big deal to me is because we want to talk a little bit about students who are trying to learn language for themselves, right? Not just because of the school rules. And not just because of, you know, the teacher says I have to do this, but also, you know, autonomy and like I have read my own reasons to learn, and I want to do these things. And so we’re happy to have you on so thank you so much for joining us.

Luna
Okay, I’m so happy to be here. Thank you.

Brent Warner
Thank you. So let’s get started Luna. This is a broad and open conversation. You know, you can kind of go any direction that you want. But we did start off with this kind of conversation in the in the clubhouse and the question that we just basically asked is, you know what technology or what resources have helped you to learn English on your own. So just like when you’re not in class when you’re not with other people. What are you doing, that you think helps you to learn English or helps you to study English?

Luna
For me, I think my own experience, there are several good methods to help me learning English for example, I, I, I like watching sitcom. The first, I think it’s very useful it’s become and you too, you can go to YouTube to find any topic you want to search and lather like a smart video, and flipgrid another like I share with you anchor, I use anchor a lot of time, because I think that’s a good resource to practice my pronunciation at home, and I enjoy maybe just a reading good, like a topic or good dialogue. And maybe, like, one day I talked about, like Thanksgiving, talk about my, like, traditional family dishes in Thanksgiving. Yeah. Yeah, the other I think like, I like to listen to the music. So I think that’s a good way to when I go for a walk and do exercise. I think I always listen to the music and with the lyrics focus on the lyrics. English song. Yeah,

Ixchell Reyes
Luna, you just shared so many good resources –

Luna
Lots of the resources.

Ixchell Reyes
A lot of these, Well, number one, I’m actually curious what – so I know that because I’m friends with Brent, and I know, constantly looking and finding new things, new methods, and he’s an innovator, of course, and sometimes an early adopter. And, but but sometimes our students may not be as interested in what those new tools are. Especially, it might be scary the first time, right, it may be intimidating, because maybe you’ve never used it. So what got you over that hurdle of, of playing with those new resources? Because you just listed a multitude.

Luna
You know, most of the resources I learned from the wonderful instructors like a brand, and yeah, spark video last summer with Brent. And I learned that other like, like play the first time with Professor Gail, and I learned a lot the like new resources, like sitcom I learn with Professor Carson. Yeah. So I think it is more useful. And Anchor, Yeah, I think I know, Brent likes this resource, but I haven’t learned from him. And my good friend, she, she was a former student with Brent. And she shared with me, we connected together. And she shared to me and she said it’s wonderful, useful resource. So I just try it. And now I use a lot.

Brent Warner
I didn’t know that. Okay, so you learned about anchor because of another student who talked to you. Yeah.

Luna
Yeah. Because that’s your class student. Yes.

Brent Warner
Well, I guess that’s good. That’s good. All right.

Ixchell Reyes
I love stories like that, though. So it sounds like a lot of these tools you picked up like, you know, over the course of time, and it wasn’t all at once, right? Your teachers weren’t throwing everything all at once. Yeah. And there then suggestion other students who found it useful, so that that’s great. I love that you were not afraid to try any of them.

Luna
You know, I think the good, good example, because I think this is a good I can take advantage from those wonderful resources, like spark video, anchor, and flipgrid. Yeah, so I’ve just keep going. Keep learning.

Brent Warner
Yeah. So Luna, when you I know that you’re kind of adventurous in your learning, right? Like, let’s just try it right.

Luna
Yeah, just try new things.

Brent Warner
But some of your classmates, you know, some of your friends are like, Wait a second, I don’t know how to do this, right.

Luna
No, I understand that they’re feeling. Yeah.

Brent Warner
So how do you how do you encourage other language learners like your your friends and to try things right? Because sometimes they’re like, I don’t want to break it. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. What will we do? So when you talk to your classmates, what do you talk about in terms of like, just try it? It’s okay.

Luna
Yeah, I think for me, maybe because of my personality, I’m active. Yeah, I want to try new thing and I challenge myself and the study work hard and yeah, just I think it’s not a piece of cake. So just a challenge myself and encouraged students. So I think like every time when we for example, last summer, we did the presentation about us using BB smart radio to make The history famous person, and we made a Tara Hartman. So we just put together and everyone yes, some classmates told me Oh, it’s too hard, but we can help each other. And finally, we did a wonderful job. Yes. Right. And yeah, so I think we can help each other. And yeah, it’s, it’s not too difficult just to try it. Like last summer you told us Don’t worry, like new resources, you just click any button, you can. And if you search, I think you, you do more research, and you click practice more. And you can learn more.

Brent Warner
Yeah, yeah. I’m like, Oh, this is all good advice. And then I’m like, No, that’s, that’s my advice.

Luna
I learned from you.

Brent Warner
So Luna,

Luna
I use your, your words!

Brent Warner
I know, right. So you had said that you like spark video. And I know, you’ve done quite a few projects on your own Spark. Why? Why do you like spark? Like, what is it about spark that makes that you connect to?

Luna
I think first the thing is, I can use, you know, I sometimes most the time I use my phone, I can just download app and use the phone to make the spark video. It is easy, but easy, simple way to make the wonderful video. And, for example, it is similar with a Google Play. You can add a picture, you can add video. And also you can add audio, and you can record your voice. That’s just, you can put everything together and you can type the word to describe the video, you want to share a boy good example, I would like to use spark video to make the project to make the presentation. Yeah, it’s good way instead of using Google flight, right. That’s my way, Luna.

Ixchell Reyes
So I hear you talking about these resources. And that’s one of the things I used to tell my students is, you know, everybody’s used PowerPoint, you gotta find out, let’s go to slides. You don’t want to use slides. Let’s let’s use this third tool, makes, you know, learn another tool, because that also makes you marketable. Wherever you’re going to go in your career right now, you know, three different tools instead of just PowerPoint, right? Yeah, yeah. So I’m also curious. So you probably created a lot of things with Spark. And one of the things I love just not even as a teacher, if I create something, I like to share it with others. So I’m wondering, do you ever share your projects with other people or send them back home for them to see?

Luna
Yeah, yeah, that’s my favorite to action. When, when I when I do the project, new thing, and I always like to share with friends. And yeah, I hope they maybe give me the good feedback. And yeah, just enjoy watching. Yeah, I have a plan. You know, I post a post point to hear anything. Like, I told Brad, I want to make my own smart radio to introduce the like, last summer, our family’s vacation, and my favorite movie, our favorite food, you know, my hobbies cooking? Yeah, but I think I want to I like taking picture, I made a lot of picture and video in my phone. But I want to pick up some good resources and put in the spark video to make the project. And I think we have to, yeah, how to do this project. Yeah

Ixchell Reyes
The possibilities are endless. And when you do that, you put them on YouTube, and you can go viral…

Luna
Yeah, you know, I have a plan you plan on my now my husband create our new RV. And every day I take a picture and video, I want to maybe your two months later, he will finish the big project. And I will make my own documentary. Yeah, maybe just a short English introduction to (unclear) YouTube.

Brent Warner
That’s amazing.

Ixchell Reyes
That’s awesome. Let’s see that, that that’s what I’m hearing about it is somebody takes an idea and the possibilities really are limitless. It’s really all that you know how you think you can use a tool. It’s not just for learning English, but yeah, right. Yeah. And the process

Luna
I think learning English is a long journey. And we can’t just learn at school and I think we have to use in our real life. Yeah. So that the reason I think I thought I’m lucky I find a find my passion in English.

Brent Warner
Yeah. And and Luna you had mentioned earlier and and and previously to me as well that you you know like to watch sitcoms, right? Yeah, I thought that was great because sitcoms can be… There are two parts one, they can be very hard because the humor is like, culturally relevant. But also, I think that sitcoms are one of the best ways to understand that culture too. So, you know, it’s kind of like, it’s, you have to hit that link language level to be able to understand it, but then also it can open the world of, you know, maybe for you for America or understanding some ideas of like American humor and those types of things. So can you share a little bit about your your experience with sitcoms and television?

Luna
Yeah, um, you know, watching sitcom series is my favorite activity at home, in my free time. And think maybe think things two years ago, I started to, to watch friend, I friend, it my It was my first time to watch the whole sitcom. And I finished the friends, all of the students all of the episode. Yeah. Yeah, you know, I spent six months to finish all of the Yeah. 236 episodes. And it took me a long time, but I enjoyed friend first. And second, I finish you know, the Office. It’s a wonderful sitcom.

Ixchell Reyes
The Office? That’s a hard one to get into.

Luna
Yeah, but I think maybe just a from from Friends. After that. I think my listening skill was improved a little bit, or maybe a lot.

Ixchell Reyes
Maybe a lot! Give yourself some credit. That was a hardcore six months.

Luna
Yeah. And you know, sometimes, for me, for me, it is so hard because I have to take a pause, and I have to watch the subtitle. And again, again, so take a long time. And after that, I finished the first series. It’s a long series about Desperate Housewives. Yeah, it’s just very wonderful for English learner. Culture right there. Yeah, I learned a lot of the culture because you know, I love the watching a sitcom series, because I think I can learn a lot of American culture from the sitcom. The very useful sitcom, you know, you compare a sitcom and the serious, I think sitcom is better for the English learner, because the comments are shorter. So just around maybe 20 to 30 minutes you can finish what episode for the Desperate Housewives even though I think it is good, but it’s one episode. Yeah, I think around maybe 15 minutes. Yeah, it is too long. And people can just walk on the Yeah, the whole episode. So and I learned a lot of American culture from for example, the celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas, and how to decorate the how the Christmas in the office or at home. So I think very, very

Ixchell Reyes
good. That’s actually a really good distinction there because the way that you might do something in the office. Yeah, and then at home, so I’m glad you’re also learning different, you know, cultural expectations within society than American society.

Luna
Uh huh. And funny thing is when I was done I sometimes make me laughs and sometimes made me cry. Yeah, it happened. And now I’m watching now I’m watching sitcom Seinfeld. Another is seen with his House of Cards. House of Cards. It is too hard but…

Ixchell Reyes
You cannot you cannot cannot like step away for 30 seconds because you will miss a lot.

Luna
Yeah, I enjoy watching that

Brent Warner
Yeah, it’s actually pretty hard. Yeah. It’s impressive to you the way you’re explaining it is actually almost how I would tell people like hey, this is easy storyline with Friends, right? Like, it’s kind of like it’s fairly easy to understand. The language can be complicated in certain parts and jokes, you know, but like, the stories are easy, right? And then you kind of step up and it’s like Desperate Housewives is kind of, you know, it’s dramatic. But then and now you’re then you’re talking about Seinfeld, which I think is very complicated. You know, but

Ixchell Reyes
I think it’s complicated.

Brent Warner
Yeah, it’s really, really fine cultural, like jokes going on in Seinfeld and

Ixchell Reyes
And a lot of abstract concepts.

Brent Warner
Yeah. And then finally, you know, House of Cards (laughing) it’s a political

Luna
Too far away . And, you know, I just want to the reason, I chose House of Cards. Some some people told me maybe as the first season is interesting. And the second maybe you feel boring, but I you know, I learned the politics. So now I think, Okay, I think maybe it’s a good time. I have to watch this wonderful, yeah, yes, this series. But the the tough thing is, I can totally understand for the House of Cards. And I have a strategy. I don’t want to waste more time like Desperate Housewives, Desperate Housewives just to take pause and take picture maybe for the beautiful line and I want to memorize and for the House of Cards, I just want to enjoy listening. And after watching episode without maybe pause too much time. And I just assert Google. Google. How Yeah, watch the episode. This episode told us the story. Yeah, to save time

Ixchell Reyes
You know, those are really great strategies. Because you’re right, you don’t have the time to pause and look at the phrase and hear it again. Because oftentimes, what’s written in the subtitles also doesn’t sound you know, the Sara Lee the same when you’re trying to listen, but I love that you’ve already that you have an approach. In fact, I feel like you should make a spark video about this how to approach sitcoms and shows as it as a language learner. This is great.

Brent Warner
Yeah. People can learn something here.

Ixchell Reyes
There’s a lot to glean there

Brent Warner
Yeah, so so we’ve talked a little bit about how you’re working on your listening and even with spark a little bit some of your speaking. Let’s talk a little bit about your reading skills for a minute Luna, because I’d be interested, you know, right now we’re reading in our class, we’re reading Fahrenheit 451, which is a fairly complicated book. It’s not too hard to read, but it’s it’s deep, right? Yeah. And I know I, you mentioned that you’ve been enjoying it, but I’m also just interested, you know, what are your strategies for helping you read and you be a successful reader?

Luna
For the first thing I want to share my classmates told me Oh, this master like a friend, brown cow. Yeah. Hard is the novel to us. We have to start earlier and some classmates, the read earlier, and the one day I told ya, I talked the tool brand, your brand told me you can you just stop? Yeah, waiting, waiting for the right time. And I just follow your Yeah, follow your otherwise. And for the first time when I opened the page, when in our class, the first page, I think, for me, it is so difficult, because you know, a lot of the words for me, it is a recovery. recovery for me. And they they talk about the fireman’s, like maybe tools of something described. So for me, but I think okay, down the matter, I can just keep reading and kill I get the main idea. And the good, good method is to go to Marwa’s workshop. And

Brent Warner
Marwa is our assistant in the class who helps out with a lot

Luna
Yeah, she wonderful, she made a wonderful PowerPoint to introduce and detail to us and make us understand more and know I asked her a question, you know, for the first page I felt like it is so hard maybe how can I just improve my reading comprehension like can I stop or just I for me, I just keep reading and the till I get them the main idea it shows she told me Yeah, you are You are right. You just have to just keep reading and he’ll you’ll get the main idea. That’s very important thing. Then if you introduce into interesting the like vocabulary, you can go back to just the check the vocabulary

Brent Warner
Yeah. So So those are some good techniques for kind of deep reading in the book. But I’m also wondering about like, you know, on your phone or, you know, on your computer, do you have any tools or anything that you’re using that kind of help you build your reading or build your vocabulary as you’re as you’re moving?

Luna
Mm hmm. I use like a dictionary to check the definition. And I, sometimes I use Google to just to Google the book introduction or to gather more information. And the most important thing, I think I get more understanding from the novel about our assignment. About brands, I think you divided the big project into five pieces. So each week, we just focus on maybe around 30 pages, and wonderful activity is we just finished our experiment. And we we discussed with classmates, we shared our each other like assignment, idea, advice and opinion, I think this is very useful for us to understand and get more like other classmates opinion to support us understanding. Yeah, I think it’s a good way.

Ixchell Reyes
So Luna, I want to ask, so you’ve got all of these all of these different ideas and tools? And I’m actually wondering, are Are there any tech tools that you don’t think are useful?

Luna
Umm.. Tools? For me, I think sometimes I learned with like a professor, and they gave us like a topic. I just focus on the topic. I think resources are resources useful. Just maybe, if I use like, spark video too much, but sometimes I use another laptop. Yeah, I think worry. I can get advantage from every resources. But for the specific like, maybe for the YouTube, they give the too more narrow a topic? I don’t like it. For example, maybe just about scientific

Brent Warner
Like a scientific topic?

Luna
Yeah, I think Yeah, I want to maybe you know, we learn English I can I want to use the English in my life. I want to connect or have a conversation with my kids teacher, have a like meet in a conference with teacher maybe make an appointment with a doctor and go to bank or go to go to supermarket to do everything I can just without any people helping me. So I think this is a very useful to relate it to our real life. So this topic for me, just for me, I think yeah, it is more maybe a little bit boring. A little bit harder. Because Yeah, like a normal normal knowledge. Yeah, this for hard to understand. Right? Right.

Ixchell Reyes
Yeah, they’re there you know it out there will be some unnecessary or unnecessary, necessary evil. Sometimes it’s that some topics that are not very fun or not, that you may not connect to. But I’m glad to hear that all of the tools your teachers have have introduced you to have been helpful.

Brent Warner
Yeah, and you know, that’s that’s part of the process of being a student right? You’re not always gonna love 100% of everything that you see right. So sometimes you just like, I don’t like this, but I have to move through it for you, Luna because I think that the your motivation is kind of unique. How do you keep yourself motivated even in those times when you go, maybe, like, maybe you feel like it’s too hard? Or maybe you’re not interested? How do you push yourself to keep moving forward in those times?

Luna
For me, maybe a just a have a goal to improve my English. So even though it is harder, or hardest assignment or project will how to do for me, I think I just for example, at the beginning, when I watch the YouTube video, I can totally understand how to take a pause a lot of times Like, that’s my strategy. I think this is for the hardest project, I have to take a pause and break into small pieces. And then I just, yeah, one by one to understand. And at the end of the Yeah, the video I can understand more. Yeah, that’s my strategy.

Brent Warner
That’s great. So so you kind of have all these these little tricks that you use for yourself to kind of help you. You keep going with everything.

Luna
Never give up!

Brent Warner
Yeah, right.

Luna
Always try new things.

Ixchell Reyes
What a great attitude. I just admire that about you. I just want to say, what a great attitude!

Brent Warner
So Luna, we’re gonna kind of wrap up this part of the conversation in a minute, but just if there, I don’t know, if you have anything, I didn’t really prepare you for this question. But if you’re if someone is just saying, Hey, I like learning on my own. I like using my own apps, or whatever it is. Or, you know, on the computer or something. Is there any one? One technology one tool that you think you? I mean, I know you’ve already talked about spark quite a lot. But if you’re gonna give someone advice, like just another student, as they say, you have to do this one thing to help you. What would you tell your classmate or your friend?

Luna
I’m just for the technology. Sure. Yeah. Um, maybe I think just enjoy watching YouTube. And yeah, the other I think Anchor anchor is better one, you know, Flipgrid… compared to Flipgrid and spark video. And yeah, I think spark video. Flipgrid, it is a little bit, it’s a good one. But you have maybe some people don’t like, just put their video their image inside. So that’s the I think they worry about this one. And for the Anchor. Last semester, I shared with my classmates, they said wonderful, because we can make audio just audio and without image without video, and we just listen to the audio and listen to your voice practice. Your speaking skill. Yeah, I think.

Brent Warner
Yeah, that’s a great point. I think, you know, if you’re a little shy about things, sometimes people don’t want to connect their face to everything. But just talking through I agree with that’s some really great practice there. All right. So lots of great tools, lots of great advice here. We’re going to make a shift out and move over to our fun finds.

Ixchell Reyes
All right, for our fun find. There’s a part of the show where we share something that’s making us happy or something fun, it doesn’t have to be technology related. So Luna will ask you for one as well. My fun find this time around is a Netflix series. It’s called blown away. And it’s season two, it’s reality TV show of glassblowers Oh, I’ve seen and they’re all competing. Yeah, they’re all competing, but season two. I’m very proud of my student who is a former student, really, she is Yes, she is now Yamamoto from Japan. And season two is where they bring people glassblowers from our international artists. And when I had her as an ESL student at Cal State San Bernardino, she was blowing glass. So she would talk about it and that’s her passion and years laters see her on the show. It’s just amazing. So I would recommend blown away season two.

Brent Warner
That’s cool.

Ixchell Reyes
Check to see how far she got in the show.

Brent Warner
Yeah!

Luna
Netflix, right?

Ixchell Reyes
Netflix.

Luna
I’ll check it

Ixchell Reyes
Thank you.

Brent Warner
So mine is I backed another Kickstarter. And and so this Kickstarter was this box. It’s called the the Tushe I guess.

Ixchell Reyes
I thought that was gonna be like a toilet seat or something like…

Brent Warner
It is!

Ixchell Reyes
It is!

Brent Warner
it’s a it’s a it’s a replacement. It’s a replacement for it says the modern wet wipe alternative. So instead of buying the wet wipes that you get at like Target or the supermarket. You know to wipe up spills on your bathroom counter or on your kitchen counter. This is one where you put you put the spray on to toilet paper which is breaks apart, right? And it’s a foam. It makes a little foam and then it puts the foam onto the toilet paper. So it’s more eco friendly. And so this was I actually tell the truth. I got this thing and it’s like it’s a Kickstarter. It’s fine. Yeah.

Ixchell Reyes
Brent always… Brent always has these.

Brent Warner
Yeah, it’s, it’s, it’s totally fine. Except then I realized like, basically what this company is doing is they are going to ultimately be selling the soap for a lot of money that goes into the machine, right? And so yeah, so so I went searching online and you can kind of make your own soap of the same thing because they’re gonna sell like a little model for like 10 or $15. And I found a recipe online where you can make something a lot cheaper for like $2 or so with you’re just going and purchasing the raw ingredients and mixing it But anyways, if you want to have a clean body, the Tushe is a fancy looking, wet wipe maker out of toilet paper. So I’ll you can see the link on the show notes.

Unknown Speaker
(Unclear – Laughing)

Brent Warner
The truth is I’m not – I’m actually saying go make your own soap. But yeah. I like supporting Kickstarters

Ixchell Reyes
it’s relevant because this morning I saw on Twitter when I was checking my news this morning that the US is I don’t know if this is just in the US but people hoarded so much toilet paper through the pandemic, that the sales are plummeting. And so it’s like, you don’t need toilet paper now that companies to innovate and now you can have your own little

Brent Warner
Well, yeah, if I if I’m gonna be – if I were really investing into this. Yeah, I would buy a bidet. For a bidet it’s a whole nother story. You have to get like an electrical outlet by your toilet and all those things. It’s too much work. Okay. Luna, do you have anything to share?

Luna
Um, I would like to share when they watch the Seinfeld sitcom

Brent Warner
Seinfeld

Luna
Yeah, yeah, there is a question to ask you I think maybe. Yeah, you are Seinfeld fans. I hope you are

Brent Warner
I like Seinfeld, yeah, Ixchell doesn’t know it very well.

Ixchell Reyes
It’s hard. It’s a hard show!

Luna
What are the four worst words in the English language?

Ixchell Reyes
What are the four worst words?

Brent Warner
Uh, Ixchell, why don’t you answer?

Ixchell Reyes
Should I just totally guess? Peach?

Brent Warner
peach? Mmmm

Luna
Four Words.

Brent Warner
Like the actual bad words. You mean?

Luna
No, it’s a Yeah, it’s a it’s just four wordw.

Brent Warner
Oh, oh, I know what you’re getting. This.

Luna
What’s the answer?

Ixchell Reyes
I’m totally lost.

Brent Warner
Let’s just be friends?

Luna
Oh, and no. Okay. Oh.

Brent Warner
Yeah. What’s the answer?

Luna
Yes. “We have to talk.”

Ixchell Reyes
Ohhhh. That’s that’s the first – The first four words and then there’s the next worst four words…

Luna
I think this one maybe? Yeah. When maybe like a boss. Yeah boss told me. Yeah. We have to talk. Yeah.

Brent Warner
If your boss says that if your if your girlfriend or boyfriend.

Luna
Yeah, yeah, it’s the worst thing. Yeah, that’s

Ixchell Reyes
